Lil intake holes: Streamlined air bounces off the hull in flight, this disrupts the airflow slightly. In order to feed perfectly directed air through the intake it has these holes which suck this "disrupted" air back to the hull into the space between intake and hull.

The ‘sieve’ is to scrub/extract the boundary layer to reduce intake blockage

Dihedral and anhedral (angling of outer wing and stabilizer up or down) question at 33:10: The F-4 design was compromised by its size (big fighter) and the need to fit on/in the aircraft carrier elevator and hangar--specifically the height of the vertical stab (very stubby vertical stab). Because the vertical was height limited, in order to maintain directional stability they added anhedral (negative "slope") to the horizontal stab (to create additional vertical stab effectiveness). BUT, anhedral is de-stabilizing in roll, so they had to compensate by adding dihedral (positive "slope" on the outer portion of the wing (outboard of the fold). One long daisy chain of design impacts caused by a physical limitation.

The grease pen is nice to learn or remind stuff when learning the module. You read something in the manual and find it difficult to remember, write it next to you on the window. I many times needed this to remember certain frequencies.

actually patriot mse missiles have their own radar seekers for fine tuning when closer to target, and that makes it so too many missiles dont hit the same TBM, we fire a set number of missiles per TBM to achieve 100% pK. -patriot operator

Wouldn’t the armed variant of the SR-71/A-12 have been a simpler launch platform? They can reach 85,000ft cruising at mach 3. If they reach that airspeed and then zoom-climb up to, let’s be conservative, 100,000ft, would it not be more efficient to reach space with less fuel for the missile. Plus Max-Q would be weaker on that missile.

Drop tanks... What a waste! They need to put guidance and an external fuse/primer on the drop tank so once it separates from the fighter, it becomes a small guided fire bomb. Since they sometimes explode when dropped, why not make them a weapon?

Can I recommend a fun mission either dogfights or ground attack or both, but using only F4's with all pylons loaded with SUU gun pods 😂😂 think thunderdome but PVE (unless both PVP teams have very easily distinguishable liveries). I remember seeing a photo of an F4 with 5 SUU gun pods and IDK if it was ever used, but I think it would be highly entertaining to see BRRRTTT on steroids.

How is it possible for anyone to ride in the backseat of that aircraft- not being able to see out of the front- and not get violently airsick. I won’t be able to do it in VR let alone real life!!

Well here in Germany we called it the "Luftverteidigungsdiesel" (Air Defence Diesel) due to how dark the smoke was. Looking forward to seeing it in action.

I've been struggling trying to get CurrentHill ships to attack enemy ships or land target. Vanilla ships can do them decently but the CurrentHill boats only want to do SAM work. Either way this stuff are awesome still and Im wondering if you can make an op in attacking land base anti-ship missiles from US side. So we can see some of those Tomahawks in action too?
